About Rob

Hey, I’m Rob — a designer, SEO strategist, and all-around creative problem solver based in Nevada.

Rob Creates is where I share the tools, workflows, and ideas that help me (and others) build smarter, better, and more creatively — whether it’s a brand, a blog, a business, or just a weekend project that needs a spark.

What I Actually Do

These days, I spend most of my time doing three things:

  • Designing clean, effective visual identities and websites for creators, small businesses, and side projects

  • Optimizing content and sites to rank on search engines — and stay ranked

  • Experimenting with AI tools to streamline creative workflows, generate content, and automate the boring stuff

Sometimes that means working 1-on-1 with clients. Sometimes it means building things for myself. Either way, I’m always making something.

A Bit of Backstory

I’ve been working in the digital space for over a decade — from early days in web and graphic design, to teaching tech tools like Excel and building social media strategies before “content calendars” were a thing.

I hold a Bachelor's in Business/Marketing and have studied a wide range of subjects over the years — always chasing the overlap between creativity, technology, and strategy.

Along the way, I’ve helped:

  • Small businesses revamp their brand and online presence

  • Creators grow their reach with smarter content and SEO

  • Entrepreneurs leverage AI without losing the human touch

I live in Nevada with my wife and two kids, and I run Rob Creates as a space to share the real stuff — what’s working, what’s worth trying, and what’s next in the world of creative tech.

What You’ll Find Here

At Rob Creates, I publish:

  • Hands-on reviews of creative tools, especially in AI, SEO, and design

  • Tutorials and guides for creators and small business owners

  • Thoughts on branding, workflows, and staying productive in a digital world

  • The occasional behind-the-scenes look at projects I’m working on

Whether you’re launching your first side hustle or just want to build a cleaner, smarter creative setup — I’m here to help you get it done.

Hey, I’m Rob — and if you’re anything like me, you probably have a desk full of gear, apps you swear by, and a constant itch to make stuff. Over the years, I’ve tested a lot of tools — shiny apps, cool gadgets, expensive software — and most of them didn’t last. But there are a handful that have earned a permanent spot in my weekly workflow. These tools help me create faster, stay organized, and actually enjoy the process. Here are five tools I use every single week — and why they might become your go-to gear, too. 1. Notion – My Brain on a Page Notion is my digital headquarters. It’s where I keep everything — blog post drafts, project ideas, client notes, inspiration boards, and even my weekly grocery list. It’s endlessly flexible, which is both a gift and a trap. But once you set it up right, it becomes indispensable . Why I use it: I built out a content calendar system where I can track ideas, drafts, publish dates, SEO notes, and performance I maintain swipe files fo...
